Overview

AI Home Makeover (“the App”) is designed to protect your privacy. It reimagines rooms with AI using a photo you choose and styles or instructions you provide. This policy explains what happens to your information.

No Account, No Tracking

The App has no account system and no analytics or advertising. We (the developer) do not operate a server and do not collect, store, receive, or have access to your photos, your designs, your API key, or any personal information.

We do not collect, store, or sell:

  • Name, email, or contact details (unless you email us for support)
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or advertising identifiers
  • Payment information
  • Your photos, makeovers, or project data on our servers

In App Store Connect, the App Privacy “nutrition label” for this App is Data Not Collected.

On-Device Storage

Your original photos, generated makeovers, and project details are stored only in the App’s local storage on your device. Your OpenAI API key is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device. Deleting the App removes this data.

Use of OpenAI

The App requires you to provide your own OpenAI API key. When you generate a makeover, the App sends the room photo you selected and the text description you enter directly from your device to OpenAI, using your key, solely to produce your design. This transmission goes to OpenAI and to no one else.

Your use of OpenAI is governed by OpenAI’s own Privacy Policy and Usage Policies: https://openai.com/policies. We recommend reviewing them. Text descriptions may also be sent to OpenAI’s moderation service to enforce content guidelines.

Your OpenAI API key is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. It is sent only to OpenAI when you generate a makeover. It is not sent to us.

Photos Permission

The App requests access to your photo library and camera only so you can choose or capture a room photo, and to save results if you ask it to. These images are used only for the features you initiate.

Analytics and Tracking

We do not use analytics SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites. The App does not display advertisements.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your photos, makeovers, and project data remain on your device until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data. Your OpenAI API key is removed from the Keychain when you delete it in the App or uninstall the App.
