Find your color
Refine light and color with curves, levels, exposure, hue and saturation. Explore white balance, color balance, gradient maps and fourteen editable adjustment types.
Make precise selections
Work with rectangle and ellipse marquees, lasso and magic wand. Expand, contract or feather selections to refine an edge.
Paint & retouch
Paint with adjustable brushes, erase, clone and heal details. Soften with blur, shape with smudge, and blend with gradients.
Compose with type
Add editable text, adjust its font and spacing, and combine it with shapes. Align and distribute layers, rotate the canvas, or correct a photographed surface with four-corner perspective crop.
Keep your creative flow
Switch between projects in tabs, use familiar keyboard shortcuts and click any retained History state to go backward or forward. Save layers or export the finished image.

A few useful details
Before you begin
Does it work offline?
Yes. Editing and project files stay on your Mac. The app does not require an account or upload your photographs to an editing service.
Can I keep editing my layers later?
Yes. Save your work as a .comp project to preserve its layers and editable composition. PNG, JPEG and TIFF exports are flattened images.
Which workflows are supported?
This version focuses on raster photo editing and layered compositions in sRGB. It does not currently include PSD import or export, RAW development, CMYK print workflows or third-party plugins.
Who makes Oanarina Photo Editor?
Oanarina Photo Editor is developed by Oana Rinaldi. Its native editing foundation is the MIT-licensed Compositor project by Wonder Assembly LLC. The original open-source license is included with the app.
