Overview

Harsh Comebacks (“the App”) is an entertainment app that serves sharp, clever, savage-but-clean comeback one-liners for iPhone, Home Screen widgets, and Apple Watch. We designed the App to work without an account and without collecting your personal information.

Data We Collect

None. Harsh Comebacks does not collect, store, or share any personal data. We do not operate servers for the App. We do not collect, store, or sell:

Name, email, or contact details (unless you email us for support)
Location data
Usage analytics or advertising identifiers
Payment information
Your saved comebacks or browsing activity on our servers

The App contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or user accounts. Creative tools, authored replies, keyword-based suggestions, search, and practice operate on your device. We do not upload conversations, drafts, favorites, or collections. Apple StoreKit connects to Apple to load subscription products, process purchases, and verify or restore subscription access.

In App Store Connect, the App Privacy “nutrition label” for this App is Data Not Collected.

On-Device Storage

Saved comebacks and preferences are stored locally. The iPhone app and widget use an App Group; the Watch companion maintains its own local state. This includes:

Comebacks you save, private collection names and membership, and rotation preferences
Any local preferences needed for the widget and Watch experience

We cannot access this local information. Your operating system may include app data in device backups according to your Apple settings. Card Studio images leave the app only when you choose to save or share them through the system share sheet. Reply Studio input and practice drafts are temporary screen state.

Third Parties

The App contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs and no developer-operated backend. Apple provides StoreKit, subscription billing, transaction verification, the operating system, and App Store distribution. Apple processes payment and transaction information under its own privacy policy; we do not receive your card details. Opening Privacy, Terms, or emailing support uses the relevant browser or email service.

Optional Pro Subscriptions

The original 10,000 comebacks, favorites, text sharing, widget, and Watch features remain free. Optional monthly and yearly auto-renewable Pro subscriptions unlock situation packs, tone selection, Reply Studio, Card Studio, search, collections, practice, and Daily Five. Both plans provide the same Pro access. Prices and billing periods are shown in the app before purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Restore Purchases is available in the app. Subscription expiry does not delete your saved comebacks or collections.

Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically Made for Kids. It collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. Content is intentionally kept clean — no profanity — though humor may be teasing or crude at a mild level.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your saved comebacks remain on your device until you delete them in the App (individually or all at once) or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes all stored data.
