Overview

My Great Lists (“the App”) is a lists app for iPhone and iPad. It works without an account, and we designed it so that we never collect your personal information.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. We do not operate servers for the App. We do not collect, store, or sell:

  • Name, email, or contact details (unless you email us for support)
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or advertising identifiers
  • Payment information
  • Your lists, items, notes, photos, categories, or stores

The App does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

Your Content and iCloud

Everything you create in the App (lists, items, notes, photos, categories and stores) is stored on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, synced to your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so it appears on all your devices. This data lives in your iCloud account, under Apple's privacy policy. We, the developer, cannot see or access it.

If you choose to share a list, the people you invite can see and edit that list through iCloud. You can stop sharing at any time from the list's sharing options.

Camera, Photos, Face ID and Notifications

  • Camera and photo library: used only when you choose to add a photo to an item or a list. Photos are stored with your lists as described above.
  • Face ID / Touch ID: used only to unlock lists you have locked (a Pro feature). Authentication happens entirely on your device through Apple's system; the App never receives your biometric data.
  • Notifications: reminders and the daily summary (Pro features) are scheduled locally on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

In-App Purchases

My Great Lists Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Payments are processed entirely by Apple; we never receive your payment details. The App only checks with Apple whether your Apple ID has an active Pro purchase.

Third Parties

The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or social logins. Apple provides the operating system, iCloud, and App Store distribution.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect any data, it is safe for use by children under the guidelines of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA).

Data Retention and Deletion

Your lists remain on your devices and in your iCloud account until you delete them in the App. You can also remove the App's iCloud data in Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Account Storage.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
