Overview

My Great Lists (“the App”) is a simple checklist app for iPhone. We designed the App to work without an account and without collecting your personal information.

Information We Do Not Collect

My Great Lists does not collect, store, or share any personal data. We do not operate servers for the App. We do not collect, store, or sell:

  • Name, email, or contact details (unless you email us for support)
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or advertising identifiers
  • Payment information
  • Your lists, items, categories, or stores on our servers

The App does not use accounts, does not connect to the internet, does not use analytics or advertising, and does not transmit any information to us or to any third party. Because no data ever leaves your device, we have no access to your information.

Information Stored on Your Device

All content you create in the App is stored only on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). This includes:

  • Lists, including their colours, icons, and favourite status
  • Items, including check-off state, priority, quantity, due dates, and notes
  • Categories and stores you create or edit

This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to our servers and is not shared with third parties.

Third Parties

The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or social logins. Apple provides the operating system and App Store distribution.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect any data, it is safe for use by children under the guidelines of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA).

Data Retention and Deletion

Your lists and items remain on your device until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes all stored data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
