Your photos stay on your device
All photo filters, adjustments, selective lighting, frames, signatures and batch rendering run locally on your device. We do not upload your photos, editing recipes, signatures or image metadata to a server. The app has no user accounts, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking SDK or third-party crash reporting SDK.
Photos, camera and files
The system photo picker shares only the photos you select, including when selecting a batch. It does not grant the app access to your entire photo library. Camera permission is requested only when you choose Camera. Add-only Photos permission is requested when saving edited copies to your photo library. The Files picker grants access only to the files you choose.
Local storage and deletion
Recent editing sessions contain a working copy of the selected photo, a thumbnail and reversible editing settings. Saved Studio recipes contain editing settings, a name, an identifier and the date saved. These live in Application Support and are excluded from device backup. Preferences and favorite filter identifiers use local system preferences and may be included in device backups. Use Settings to clear recent edits or reset favorites; delete saved recipes from the recipe menu. Deleting the app removes its local working files. Images already exported to Photos, Files or another service remain there until you delete them separately.
Metadata and sharing
Single-photo exports can preserve source metadata or remove it, including location information. Choose the export metadata settings before sharing. Batch exports omit source metadata. Sharing an image or recipe uses Apple's system share sheet and sends only the material you choose to the destination you select; that destination's own privacy policy applies. Signatures you enter are drawn into your exported photos and can be visible to recipients.
Optional Studio subscriptions
Studio offers monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Apple processes payments, purchases, renewals and refunds under its own terms and App Store privacy information. The app uses StoreKit to load products and verify the transaction, product identifier and entitlement status on your device. We do not operate a purchase server or receive your payment card details. Apple's connection is required to load prices, purchase or restore purchases. Local editing does not upload photos and remains available offline.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The original 115 filters, existing editing tools and standard full-resolution exports remain free. New Studio features require an active subscription for their paid actions. You may preview Studio edits without subscribing and remove them to export using free tools.
Support and changes
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to respond to your request. Do not send payment details. This general photo editor is not specifically directed at children. A parent or guardian should supervise purchases. Policy updates will be published here with a revised date.
