How it works

  1. Choose a video type on the Home screen: Plan to House, Sketch to House, Build on Your Land, Room Tour, Renovation or Day to Night.
  2. Add your picture — a floor plan, a sketch, or a photo of your plot, room, facade or render (Photos, camera or Files; PDFs use the first page).
  3. Pick a style, light, format (9:16 or 16:9), length and resolution — plus the opening scene and final shot for plans and sketches.
  4. The app first makes a result picture: the 3D model, the finished house, the redesign or the evening version. Check it; regenerate it or upload your own.
  5. Make the video. It takes about 1–5 minutes and you can close the app meanwhile — you’ll get a notification when it’s ready.

Getting a Google API key (to use the app for free)

  1. Go to aistudio.google.com/apikey and sign in with your Google account.
  2. Choose Create API key and select or create a Google Cloud project.
  3. Enable billing on that project — Google’s video models have no free tier.
  4. Copy the key and paste it in the app: Settings > Your own API key > Google.

Typical cost on your Google account: about $0.35 for a 10-second 360p draft, about $1.00 for 10 seconds at 720p, and about $0.10 for a result picture. Only a Google key is needed. The Gemini API is not available in every country — use credits instead if your key is refused for your location.

Learn library

The Learn tab has 20 free illustrated guides — reading floor plans, styles and materials, filming architecture, and new building technologies such as mass timber, Passive House and 3D printing. It works offline and needs no key or credits.

Credits

  • Result picture (3D model, redesign…): 1 credit. Video: 2 credits (360p draft), 4 credits (720p HD) or 7 credits (1080p Full HD).
  • Monthly credits are used first and refresh on your renewal date; top-up credits never expire.
  • If a video fails or is blocked by a safety filter, its credits are returned automatically. A finished video waits on our server for up to 30 days until your phone downloads it.
  • Restore purchases: Settings > Plan & credits > Restore. Sign in with Apple keeps credits on all your devices.

My video hasn’t arrived

  • Open the app: unfinished videos are checked and downloaded automatically. Interrupted downloads resume.
  • Allow notifications (Settings > General) to be told when a video is ready.
  • With your own key, Google keeps a finished video for about 2 days — open the app within that time.

Tips for better videos

  • Plans: use a straight-on, evenly lit plan of one floor, cropped to the drawing. Readable room labels and a marked road side or gate help.
  • Sketches: darker lines read better; add materials or the number of floors in the notes.
  • Plots, rooms and facades: take a wide, level, well-lit photo from where you want the camera to be.
  • Spend time on the result picture: the video can only be as faithful as the picture and the result it starts from.
  • Try ideas as 360p drafts, then make the final video in HD or Full HD.
