Summary

There is no login requirement and no analytics. Your projects, photos and generated images stay on your device. You can use the app in two ways:

  • With your own OpenAI API key — images go directly from your device to OpenAI. We receive nothing.
  • With a plan or credits bought in the app — your image passes through our render server on its way to OpenAI. The server keeps only what is needed to manage your credits (see below).

What Stays on Your Device

  • The photos you choose and the images the app generates, stored in the app’s private container.
  • Your projects, favourites and their settings.
  • Your OpenAI API key, if you add one, in the iOS Keychain (this device only, never backed up or synced). It is not included in project exports.
  • Your app preferences.

The app has no project-sync service. Device backups may include local app files according to your settings. Deleting the app removes its local container.

Using Your Own OpenAI API Key

The app sends the image you select, your instructions and the relevant tool settings directly from your device to OpenAI’s API (api.openai.com), authenticated with your key. Text descriptions may also be sent to OpenAI’s moderation endpoint, and a key check requests the models endpoint. This data goes to OpenAI, not to us, and is processed under your own OpenAI account and OpenAI’s policies (openai.com/policies).

Using a Plan or Credits

The app sends the image you select and your instructions to our render server (hosted on Cloudflare), which forwards them to OpenAI using the developer’s OpenAI account and returns the result to your device. Your uploaded image and text are not stored. The finished image is kept on the server for up to 24 hours only so the app can collect it if your connection drops, then it expires automatically. As of writing, OpenAI states that data submitted through its API is not used to train its models by default.

To manage your credits, the server stores:

  • a random account ID created by the app (not linked to your name, email or Apple ID, unless you choose Sign in with Apple);
  • your App Store purchases (product, dates and transaction IDs), as signed by Apple;
  • your credit balance and a history of changes to it (purchases, renders, refunds);
  • for each render: date, quality, output size, credits used and the processing cost reported by OpenAI.

Payments are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. The account ID is kept in your iCloud Keychain so your balance survives a reinstall. A server record is only created once you buy a plan or credits, or sign in with Apple. If you only use your own API key, nothing about you is stored on our server.

Sign in with Apple (Optional)

If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive only Apple’s anonymous identifier for you in this app — never your name or email — and use it to make your credits available on all your devices. Apple also gives us a token that we use only to cancel the sign-in when you delete your account. Signing in is never required.

We ask for your consent before your first image is sent to OpenAI. You can decline and still use the offline Learn library; the generation features will then not work.

Photos, Camera and Files

The app uses only the images or files you select. Camera access is requested when you take a picture; saving to Photos may request add-only access. PDF import uses the first page. The app does not upload your photo library.

Advertising and Analytics

The app has no advertising, tracking or analytics SDK and no developer crash-reporting service. It does not request location or contacts.

Children

The app is not directed at children.

Deleting Your Data

In the app, open Settings > Plan & credits > Delete account & data. This immediately deletes your account record, credit balance and history, render history and any Sign in with Apple link from our server, and revokes the Sign in with Apple token. Remaining credits are lost. Apple transaction IDs are kept, no longer linked to any account, only so the same purchase cannot be credited twice. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in your Apple ID’s Subscriptions settings. You can also email us to ask for deletion.

To remove everything on your device, use Settings > Delete all projects & images, or delete the app. Keychain items may survive app removal, so remove your API key in Settings or revoke it in your OpenAI account. For data held by OpenAI under your own API key, contact OpenAI directly.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
